Our Approach - The Foundry

THE TEAM

We will establish your own team of passionate professionals overseen by our Partners, Ron, Brownie and Simon. Together with you and with GM Jeanan or Kelly, we will identify the most suitable people to be our key points of contact in Account Management and Creative. However, you are welcome to contact any of our team members as your particular demands require.

In fact, our One Team approach means that the entire resources of the agency will be at your disposal as required.

You can also be assured that, at The Foundry it is our policy that the Partners never lose contact with the work.

STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT

The Team’s initial challenge will be to work closely with you to ‘crack’ the strategic insights that will drive an effective and commercially-relevant idea.

We start with a process of ‘Immersion’, where we dive in boots-and-all to your business to get to know your brand and your customer as well as we possibly can.We suspect that you are already in possession of vast amounts of information in this regard. That’s why our first step is to take and digest all of the learning of your own people.

Our preferred method for refining this is our Strategic Development Workshop, a half-day interactive session. This is designed to confirm the Brand Blueprint – our simple, marketing-focused model.

All of this work, however is driven by the simple core principles of our thinking:

1.
That all marketing communications must be seen as an investment.
2.
Therefore that it must deliver a return.
4.
That, to deliver a return our messages must motivate customers.
4.
That motivating via a discount or promotional offer should not be seen as the only or optimum commercial solution
5.
Therefore we should seek to find motivating customer insights – other messages which can and will also motivate customers. In our experience, finding this motivating customer insight is the key to increasing the effective cut through and ‘stickiness’ of marketing investments. Far from creating ‘warm and fuzzy’ messages, the focus is always on finding the right mix of commercial creativity to motivate the customer and drive the result.
